You can buy directly from us, and we conveniently process all payments in-house, so your transaction is not processed online, therefore always secure. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Wire Transfer for international transactions, and corporate checks from our trade clients.

Keep in mind that with each estate liquidation, circumstances vary in many ways, therefore we’re ready to offer several options, that would include intermediary services with other outlets — such as vetted local auction houses, and/or dealers that altogether combined would totally meet your needs.

How to purchase from us:
Purchasing from us has never been simpler. Just let us know which Item(s) you are interested in, and we will forward you a condition report (upon request) and, invoice with payment instructions. Rest assured your payments are always secure and processed in-house. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Wire Transfer for our international buyers, and corporate checks from designers and architects are welcome.
Delivery and Freight Services:
We strive to insure your item (s) arrive quickly and safely. Space Modern does not pack or ship items in-house, however we will gladly deliver your item (s) that can travel with conventional methods like UPS to our local pack and ship company and insure it is professionally packed and shipped efficiently to your specifications. You’re charged the actual cost of this service by the shipper with no additional handling fees.
Delivery and Freight Services (con’t.)
Freight Services: We offer blanket wrap, or white glove services within the continental U.S. through several reputable companies. They handle the pick-up and careful packing or blanket wrap of your merchandise, and transportation to your home or business. This is a door to door service and is arranged by our company on your behalf or you’re welcome to arrange your own shipping, as long as we have written authorization. There is a cost variance depending on the size of the shipment and your location, and final arrangements and fees are paid by the buyer directly to the shipping company per their terms. Local deliveries are competitively priced by experienced professional movers.

How to submit your item for consideration:
It’s simple — just use the contact form, and select “upload” to send us image of the item (s) or the entire room with any additional information, for example name of designer, manufacturer, where and when it was purchased, and in what city the items are located, and we will review and respond within 48 hours. For quicker service you’re always welcome to use the “chat” button on the lower corner of any page to send images, chat with us, or give us a call.
Sell or Consign?
Once you have submitted your item for review, and we have determined that it is suited for our collection, someone will contact you either by phone or E-mail to discuss a purchase or consignment. We will discuss with you your choices or benefits of selling or consigning depending on the piece and the market variables at the time. Space Modern offers a well established worldwide clientele through our website, and in addition to our Ft. Lauderdale gallery we offer several high-end online marketplace’ for obtaining a competitive price for your merchandise in a timely fashion. We do not offer in-house appraisal.
In-Place Consignment Service:
We also offer a unique service that we recently launched which doesn’t require removing your items from your home, or inconvenience you in any way — this service is especially useful for homes on the market. We dispatch our merchandise specialists to your residance to discuss market prices, photograph your items, and list the pieces on our website, plus 1stdibs.com and Incollect.com. This service is suited for those that aren’t able to part with their items until they sell.

Once a decision is made we handle the rest carefully and efficiently, which includes professional packing and white glove moving services. Rest assured we use the most professional and experienced companies in the business to handle your items, and they are fully licensed, insured and bonded with all necessary documentation.
